You have successfully programmed the nRF52840 chip. Simple just load in the hex file to nRF52840-DK board. That’s all for a simple demonstration of programming the nRF52840 chip that is on the nRF52840-DK development kit board. The programming action will only take place during the first time transferring of the *.hex file onto the JLINK drive. The old hex file can be remains in the drive. They will now fade out and fade on the lights. This copy action will trigger a programming process of the hex file into the nRF52840 chip.Īfter a short second, you should see the LED1 LED2 LED3 LED4 on the nRF52840 board started to lights on in sequence, followed by lights off in sequence.Ĥ) Next, copy the “ led_softblink_pca10056.hex” hex file into the root of the JLINK drive.Īfter a second, you should see that the 4 LED now behaves differently. Inside this drive “JLINK”, you will see the following files inside.ģ) Copy the “ blinky_pca10056.hex” hex file into the root of the JLINK drive.
